The \u201ctree climbing lions\u201d is the most iconic tourist attraction of this sector; lions are often sighted hanging up on the big tree branches relaxed and some even sleeping. They reside in candelabrum, African fig tree and acacia trees, resulting from an effort to escape tsetse fly bites, excessive ground heat during the dry season and watching out for hunting points as it is difficult to spot prey while on the ground due to tall savannah grass. Even lions frequenting Ishasha from Kasenyi, resort to tree climbing when they get here making it an exclusive location for tree climbing lions.
